Ten more years are gone. So it is just the time for another release of them.
Wie schon vor zehn Jahren gibt es jetzt wieder eine CD von Gertie Bauer und die Jungs. Deswegen heisst sie 'DIE NÄCHSTEN ZEHN JAHRE'. Es sind drei Stücke drauf. Und die kommen nicht vom Doppel-Tapedeck wie damals, sondern vom Harddisk-Recorder wie heute. Aber sonst wie immer: geht vorne los, hört hinten auf. Alles gemacht von BERSERKER.
Ein altes Foto hab ich auch mit bei getan.
Und das Motto ist nach wie vor:
Hat Dein Radio kein Format, dann gib ihm Gertie Bauer und die Jungs.

Back in 1984 there was some Berserker project started gathering tape recordings from different people all over the world in order to cut them up and mix together again for one continuing piece of noisy sound collage. All 33 original tapes that came in still wait for the work and I have the idea to start on it.

Anna was back in the NURNICHTNUR studios again to do some new Berserker recordings. At times we were not shopping the toys of Kleve, I introduced RoN Schmidt and the couple had a real good time talking about pimmel and enneagram. Using my new Class A preamps we had some best recording sessions ever and will continue next time Anna is around.

Stephan Froleyks invited australian poet-vocalist Amanda Stewart for some recording session days at NURNICHTNUR studios in July 2003. Three hours of interesting material have to be edited now. Amanda promised to get that ready for a CD release.
